Summer Fun in Long Beach: Join Our Community This Season

Paddles, golf rounds, movie nights, and new friends across Long Beach, LA, and Orange County

Summer fun in Long Beach does not happen by accident. It happens when you know which group to show up to, which event fits your evening, and who is actually going to be there to say hello when you walk in. Since 2020, my team and I have built a community across Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Orange County that now includes more than 9,500 members and six active groups, and summer is genuinely our busiest and most social season.

Whether you moved here last month or you have lived here for years and want to expand your circle, this guide walks you through where to find us this summer, what each group is about, and how to jump in without any pressure.

People join us for all kinds of reasons. Some just want to get out of the house and make a few friends. Others are hoping to meet someone special. We have had well over 1,170 events since 2020, and both of those things happen more often than you might think.

Quick Takeaway: Living CA Realty runs six free-to-join community groups across Long Beach, LA, and Orange County, with a full summer calendar of paddles, golf, mixers, and beach nights.

  • Six groups covering social events, paddleboarding, golf, couples activities, and homebuyer education
  • Hosted by David Sanchez and Kimberly Smith with Living CA Realty, plus a rotating group of guest organizers
  • Most events are free, with a small prepaid fee for some golf outings
  • No pressure to buy or sell a home. Community first, always
  • Bookmark LivingCACommunity.com for the weekly updated calendar

Every event you see below is listed and updated weekly on our community hub. It is the fastest way to see what is happening this week and RSVP in a couple of clicks.

Why Summer Is the Season to Show Up

Long summer evenings mean more daylight for a paddle after work, more patios open for a mixer, and more reasons to be outside instead of scrolling. It is simply easier to meet people in the summer months, and our calendar reflects that. Between July and September we typically run close to 30 events across Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Orange County, from sunset paddles to golf outings to a free movie night on the sand.

The idea is simple. Instead of trying to build a social life from scratch, you show up to something already built around a shared activity, and the rest tends to take care of itself.

Who Hosts These Events

I am David Sanchez with Living CA Realty, and I am joined by my teammate Kimberly Smith. Between the two of us, we organize and sponsor most of the events on the calendar, and we could not do it without a rotating group of guest organizers who step in to co-host paddles, golf days, and mixers throughout the year.

Real estate is genuinely secondary to what we are building here. Our slogan is “Let’s build a community together,” and that shows up in how we run these events: no sales pitches, no pressure, just a genuine effort to help people connect in Long Beach, LA, and Orange County.

Where to Find Summer Fun in Long Beach This Season

Here are the six groups currently active under our community umbrella, along with the kind of events each one runs this summer.

Social MixersBeach NightsHikes

Our flagship group for social events across Long Beach, LA, and Orange County. This summer includes a free movie night on the sand at Rosie’s Dog Beach, a leisurely hike out at San Clemente Beach Trail, and a full social mixer in Costa Mesa.

We also mix in an occasional speed dating night just to shake things up. There have been countless matches out of those events, and at least one marriage that we know about, with a few more couples clearly headed in that direction. If you met your person at one of our events and we do not know about it yet, tell us. We would love to update the count.
